The team of artists around Anna Weissenfels and Tom Timmerhoff designs collective survival strategies with the cooperation game "the WORRIERS". It is a participatory project that combines performance, survival training and board games. The International Citizens' Initiative is actively engaged in developing, challenging and implementing alternatives for a sustainable future. At Schloss Bröllin, participants will meet for a first training session on the new training series that will be held in Central and Eastern Europe. What are the possibilities of public relations? How do you write a press release? What must be considered when creating publicity material? - In each club or association there are topics that are extraordinary. You just have to find them, improve them and offer them to the relevant publication. That's what this seminar is about: media work that does not just consist of announcing events. Lecturer: Matthias Hufmann, freelance journalist, writes for various newspapers and magazines. Before that he worked for the Schweriner Volkszeitung as news editor,  managing editor and member of the editorial board.

25.03. Art project: encounter in painting and sculpture / youth regional
23 young people from the region are invited to try out 2 days in the creative handling of various materials. The workshop is about painting, creative design, curiosity and fun. Best of all, no previous knowledge is expected, everyone between the ages of 13 and 25 can join. A weekend quite different! In collaboration with the art therapist Anna Dewald from Pasewalk. A project promoted by Arbeit und Leben.

08.05. Foundation of the club "Tanzregion Vorpommern"
Perform [d] ance (Stralsund), schloss bröllin (Fahrenwalde) and the Theater Vorpommern (Stralsund, Greifswald and Putbus) have joined forces to strengthen contemporary dance in the country. Supported by the federal program "Tanzpakt Stadt-Land-Bund", the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and the Vorpommern Fund, they are jointly conducting the project "Vorpommern tanzt an!" over a period of three years. Here dancers and dance mediators are supported by the creation of new production structures and performance possibilities and moved to stay. Invited are dance makers and inhabitants of Vorpommern to get in touch with each other, to produce, to show, to experience and to discuss local dance. At Schloss Bröllin, dance-makers in residencies can deal with central themes of Vorpommern and develop dance productions that are shown in the houses of the Theater Vorpommern. You will receive mentoring and practical support. Through this, we can reach a new audience. "Classroom Pieces of Dance", with 1-2 dancers, are created by the Theatre Vorpommern, and tour schools every year. Dancers' qualification programs will provide a nationwide pool of dance education professionals through numerous workshops. An annual dance festival invites dance makers and a wide audience to get the region moving. In order to strengthen dance in M-V, the establishment of a dance department is planned. Its task will be to branch out to the local dance scene, to encourage the dialogue with cultural policy and to create an overall regional visibility. "Vorpommern dances" is funded by TANZPAKT Stadt-Land-Bund from funds provided by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media and the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and the Vorpommern Fund. 14.04. "Country life" / regional theater project with children
On April 14, 2018, the actors of the project 'Land leben' use the rooms of the Schloss Bröllin e.V. to conduct their final event. Over a year and a half, young people and adults from the villages of Blankensee, Pampow, Boock and Plöwen have learned the tools they need to create films and embed them in a self-developed live performance of theater and dance in film production, drama and hip-hop workshops ,Project Management: Susanne Völlm Artistic Director: Werner Eggerath. During National Socialism, the CINS Circus troop designed a critical culture of remembrance, which is in the form of a performance and reading exhibition. The material collected so far and other research findings flow together to create this circus-like production. During their stay at Schloss Bröllin, the artists will be hosting a workshop for pupils from Altentreptow on 2 May. In May and June, six project days will take place in cooperation with the production school Torgelow. Eight teenagers will actively engage with various topics such as fear of strangers, prejudices and dealing with conflicts. As part of Bröllin´s youth social work, they are supported by Marcin Zabielski and Christine Lauenstein.

08.05. Funding Opportunities - From Idea to Implementation / Workshop 15:30 - 19:30 /
What subsidies are available? What do you have to pay attention to? What does an application for success look like? This workshop provides an overview of funding opportunities for engagement. Both individual support programs and basic knowledge for the implementation of projects will be presented. Katharina Husemann will provide interesting information on funding opportunities, Hendrik Menzl from the Service Center Culture gives an insight into the possibilities of the funding programs of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Christoph Martin Schmidt of the Department of Cultural Education M-V provides information about the possibilities of the program "Kultur macht stark". Taking place in Stralsund, the "Fachtag Tanz" Symposium focuses on dance in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The dance symposium endevours to bring the dance scene in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern together, and to open up opportunities to meet and exchange ideas with one another. In various panels and working groups, current topics such as the strengthening of permanent ensembles, artistic production in the independent scene and dance mediation will be discussed and details worked out. For an artistic event in 2018, schloss bröllin e.V. offers something very special: in cooperation with the team of "The WORRIERS", a group of artists, project developers, game developers and other experts, a game is developed where collective survival strategies are needed. It combines performance, survival training and board games, is built like a computer game and takes place in real life on the grounds of Schloss Bröllin from 21.-23. September. A concluding symposium on 23.09. provides a framework for theoretical discourse and exchange. All regional initiatives interested in working together can take part in the German-Polish workshops. Content, artistic approaches and methods will be communicated. Between 8.-10. June and between 14.-16. September, the Real Game is developed and will give an insight into current topics, using this form of playful engagement. The activities are free and open to people of all ages. The Pasewalk Conversations - "Pasewalker Gespräche" - are an important forum for the exchange of ideas and the shaping of our region together. The initiative "Pasewalk hilft" and its supporters, together with the city of Pasewalk, invite all citizens to an exchange about the future of Vorpommern. Under the motto "Our Region in 20 Years - Dream City Pasewalk", future possibilities can be visualised and dreams could come true. The exhibition "Compliments" accompanies the Pasewalk conversations. From a shared concern and disgust about recent developments in right-wing tendencies, Berlin performance colleagues Wanda Dubrau and Annemie Twardawa developed the idea of "Müllrose". In a month-long road trip through Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, they search for stories beyond the spectacular which tell of a pluralist, tolerant society. A vibrant and resilient democracy needs strong associations, societies, initiatives and local authorities that, both within themselves and externally, support cohesion, participation and democratic cooperation. Among other things, this event aims to support and promote civic engagement. The event will give an overview of some of the important tasks of an association, such as rights and obligations of the board, tax obligations, liability within the board, tips for optimizing the statutes, compensation and reimbursement of expenses and other interesting facts for all who are involved in clubs and societies.
